Our Councilwoman
Councilwoman Jamelle McKenzie is committed to representing all Ward 1 residents. Seven years before she was elected, Jamelle worked diligently to assist the City of College Park in an informal capacity to improve public safety, economic development, and creating avenues to assist seniors, youth, and families. She had also been actively involved in bringing economic development to the city. Now Jamelle has the opportunity to continue her work as a member of College Park's City Council.
Jamelle is excited to participate is the next stage of College Park's evolution, and she wants to hear what her constituents have to say. Jamelle is, and will always be an open book, so make your voices heard and let's build College Park.
Our Vision
Our Councilwoman has committed to work with all elected College Park officials to improve the city. College Park's storied history, incredible residents, and proximity to the Hartsfield Jackson airport creates an excellent opportunity to make College Park an international city. Jamelle will spend the next four years working to achieve this goal.
Our Team
It takes a village to create a thriving community. Councilwoman McKenzie formed our Community Champions Program to ensure that members of the Ward 1 District know that they are valued and needed in her current administration. In order to best represent our neighbors, their voices must be heard and considered in the decisions being made on behalf of our community. Our Ward 1 Community Champions work hand in hand with Councilor McKenzie to ensure that every part of our Ward counts!
